Front Lowering Coil Springs with 2" Front Drop Height by Belltech®. Quantity: 2 per Pack. Belltech Lowering Coil Springs have been engineered to provide the visual lowering you are looking for with the OEM quality that you have come to expect from Belltech. Unlike many other offerings on the market, Belltech specializes in not only ride comfort and quality, but increasing the handling performance of your Sport Truck or SUV as well. Each coil is manufactured from high quality materials to assure the proper ride height, ride quality and long life you have come to expect from Belltech products.
Installation
Your SUV or pickup truck was designed to provide good handling with a comfortable ride. Manufacturers set vehicle ride heights as a compromise to please the majority of their customers who want a more commanding view of the road and better snow clearance. For the driver that wants to slam their ride lower without being slammed in the back with a harsh ride, Belltech offers lowering springs that provide an uncompromising balance between an aggressive stance and performance – dropping ride height. So if your truck left the factory with a nose-down rake, these lowering springs can offset it completely.
You’ll gain immediate, noticeable handling benefits because these springs have been tuned for the suspension dynamics of your specific vehicle. Side-to-side body lean will be reduced along with braking nose dive and squat under acceleration. To maximize cornering ability, front springs are not progressive. While rear springs are also designed to enhance handling, they do feature a progressive design in order to maintain civilized ride comfort with their increased drop compared to the front. All Belltech coil springs are designed for a long life of precision operation, and are built to avoid the disappointments of spring sag and corrosion that plague other brands. A multi-level tempering process during manufacturing begins with an annealing stage which heats the metal, then allows it to cool slowly in order to minimize internal stresses and increase strength. Metal is then shot blasted to remove surface imperfections and coated with a durable layer of silver powder coat finish to resist corrosion, scratches, and chips.
