Not Just a Bolt On
The tub rails look great. I have 3 Jeeps with tube doors and tube steps. I added these to all three Jeeps. Lots of compliments. If you are wanting a bolt on product though, you are in trouble. The side of the Jeeps is dead on straight. The rails, because of welding all have a 3/16 of an inch bow in all 6 of them. The rails are so strong, that the Jeep sheet metal will deform out to them when you are installing to the Jeep side. A trip to a local machine shop, and a hydraulic press was required to get them flat enough to look and work correctly. A foam gasket is included, but does not work to fill the difference between the two surfaces. Also, it will hold water and rust the sheet metal. I had to carefully caulk with black caulk. (Lowe's has it).
