A1 Cardone® 19-B2683B Caliper
Installed this caliper to replace a seized OE caliper on a 2011 Forester. Time will tell if they hold up to winter conditions. Caliper did come fully loaded (except for pads) but the lower pad clip was incorrect. Luckily the PowerStop pad/rotor kit I also ordered from TRUCKiD came with the correct clips. Seals, slides and bleeder are new of course but the piston appears new as well which I was not expecting. Remanufactured parts usually make me nervous but brand new OE calipers are approximately $230 each which is crazy to pay for a daily driver. After the core charge return (an easy process but will cost you shipping) these are a good value.

C32 AMG Brake Swap for a CLK350!
Ordered and upgraded my 06 CLK350 with stock base brakes to the 4 piston Brembo front and 2 piston Brembo rears from the 02-04 C32 AMG. Also installed new SS brake lines and the car stops like I paid $3k+ for a big brake kit. Good product, bleed screws are a little cheap, but they work fine.

Not Remanned OEM But Fresh Cast
It boggles my mind the guys that can't tell the difference between Toyota's iron and cheap high-profit iron. Cardone fresh castings have a nasty smell, have some "machined" areas that are transferred from the mold, and other places where finishing is simply ignored such as the banjo interface. Overall, it is still a good product for the price. If you order the caliper with cheap new bracket it will not be a fresh casting but it WILL be coated with grey enamel though some pitting is likely.

Leaking Caliper
I ordered two rear calipers for a 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. They were reconditioned and appeared almost like new except one had to be returned because it did not have a vent valve in the piston. Cardone was responsive to the problem and replaced the caliper. I have just installed the calipers and after the brakes were bled yesterday the left rear is leaking brake fluid. I have not as yet contacted Cardone for yet another replacement.

Parts were perfect match to OEM parts removed. Time will tell on overall quality but everything appears to be really nice and functioning well after installation.

As for the finish, it didn’t hold up for even a week before it was covered in rust spots. Two weeks later and the whole caliper looked awful. But they still work and aren’t binding, so there is that.

Sadly the hardware that came with it wasn’t for this caliper. The guide pin that holds the caliper in place was larger than the holes it needed to fit in, additionally it was larger than the pin from the original caliper. I just reused the pin from the original caliper. As for the finish, it didn’t hold up for even a week before it was covered in rust spots. Two weeks later and the whole caliper looked awful. But they still work and aren’t binding, so there is that.
