    Product Details

Front Brake Bleeder Screw Set (H9430) by Carlson®. A brake bleeder screw is normally mounted at the highest point on each cylinder or caliper and used to release air and old brake fluid from the brake system. When it comes to replacement, this component by Carlson is what you need to get a precise fit, excellent quality, and extreme durability.

Worn, damaged or missing disc brake hardware can cause noise, poor braking performance, and uneven pad wear. Defective or missing shims, abutment clips, and anti-rattle clips can allow excessive pad movement, vibration and noise when braking, or allow binding which could cause uneven braking, brake drag, pulling, uneven pad wear or premature rotor wear. Damaged or corroded caliper guide bolts and pins can prevent proper caliper movement, resulting in uneven braking and pad wear. Torn or missing pin boots can allow caliper guide bolts and slide pins to become corroded. To prevent these symptoms, brake hardware should be inspected and replaced whenever brake pads are replaced. Carlson, the company with over 40 years of brake hardware experience, has the brake hardware that will keep your vehicle stopping reliably and quietly. Every part is made to original equipment specifications so you can be assured of perfect fit and function.

    Good Product
So far these have worked out perfect. I installed them myself and they were really simple. I'm extremely satisfied! Very happy with new Drum Brake Hardware Kit. Highly recommended.

Not the Quality I Was Expecting for a Usa Made Product.
Purchased this kit on Ebay for $35.99. Installed in my 1970 Thunderbird rear brake system. Within less that 300 miles my rear brakes failed. Upon inspection the brake linings disintegrated. Upon replacing the brake shoes I noticed that the compression springs didn't hold the shoes tightly. SO I ordered a new hardware kit from NAPA. When comparing the the old to new, the Carlson compression springs were badly compressed and offered little retention support for the shoes. Further inspection revealed the holding pins were bent and much smaller in diameter than the NAPA brand. Also the other retaining springs were enlongated and offer much less tension. The Carlson kit I purchased was for a 1967-70 Thunderbird, but the quality of the kit wasn't up to the task. Hopefully the NAPA kit will last much longer. I noticed the Carlson price for the kit is under $6, sure not worth the $36 I paid.

    Excellent OEM Quality Parts.
Bought these at half the price of OEMs and they are same quality as OEM. Installed easily without any issues.
