Warranty

CATCO makes the following limited warranty to the original retail purchaser of this catalytic converter:

1. Limited Warranty: This catalytic converter is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship subject to the exclusion and conditions set forth below and subject to the duration limits in this paragraph. This catalytic converter has been designed and manufactured and is warranted to meet federal Environmental Protection Agency emission requirements for 25,000 miles. The stainless steel body and the nipples alone are warranted for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. At the conclusion of the 5 year/50,000 mile- or 25,000-mile period, whichever is applicable, all liability under this limited warranty shall terminate.

2. Defects: If the catalytic converter is determined to be defective, CATCO will supply the purchaser with a new catalytic converter provided the following conditions are met:

The purchaser must return the converter to an authorized dealer.
If the warranty claim relates to emission performance, the purchaser must provide proof of failure of an emission test.
CATCO may require the purchaser to provide proof that the engine was tuned to original manufacturer’s specifications and maintained in proper operating condition.

The only obligation of CATCO under this warranty is to supply the purchaser with a new catalytic converter.

3. Exclusions: Failure and/or destruction of a catalytic converter caused by the following matters are not covered by this warranty:

Improper installations (including installation on a vehicle for which the converter has not been cataloged) or failure to maintain the vehicle in proper operating condition with all emission control equipment properly connected and operating according to vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
The use of leaded fuel.
Damage due to accident, negligence or misuse.
Converters installed on vehicles with modified exhaust or emission systems.

All implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly limited to the duration of this limited warranty.

CATCO shall not be liable for damages or injury to persons or property resulting from misuse or improper installation of the catalytic converter.

Some states do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Worth the Money

My '14 Silverado 1500 was giving the p0420 code. Replaced the cat and it cleared up. Catco is good, does the job. Truck's running better now.

Great Cat! Well Priced

Finally, I’ve found a cat converter assembly that doesn’t cost a fortune yet performs very well. Would recommend it to everyone! Very durable construction, and it’s relatively lightweight (much lighter than the stock one). I noticed a slight increase in power, but I’m satisfied (don’t think it will free up much power). But the noise reduction is very noticeable! Install was easy because everything fits perfectly.

Excellent!!! That’s What I Needed

Best Converter

I'm an eco-conscious person forced to drive a car in my daily life. The fact that this converter may fix the emissions issue made me buy it and I didn’t regret! The converter provides the same fit as the original and was quite easy to install. I’ve bought it 6 months ago and still no check engine light. Zero complaints and 100% satisfaction!

Good One

Bought this cat for my GMC Sonoma 2003, and I'm completely satisfied with it. Everlasting stainless construction looks nice, but the finish is not as good as OEM parts have. It's the only weak point I’ve noticed. Fit my wagon perfectly, excellent performance, and still no check engine light. Generally, a great product at a great price! Will surely buy here again when the time comes.
