You accidently hit a curb or other obstacle and bend, dent, or abrade one of your vehicle's factory alloy wheels. Such damage is not only unsightly, it can be dangerous. A damaged wheel may not allow the wheel to stay seated on the bead and it may not hold air. A bent or dented wheel may not enable the tire to track properly, upsetting vehicle handling, and this kind of damage can also cause a bothersome vibration which can also wear suspension and driveline parts. But a new replacement wheel from the dealer is very expensive! Don't drive with a damaged wheel because of high dealer prices, not when you can get a factory remanufactured wheel from CCI. CCI carefully inspects all received factory alloy wheels to make sure they're repairable within their safety standards. Any wheel with damage that compromises the structural integrity, such as severe dents, elongated lug holes, or outer diameter defects, is rejected. This screening process ensures CCI remanufactured alloy wheels will meet or exceed industry safety standards. If accepted, the alloy wheel is straightened to tolerances tighter than specified by the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) to ensure a smooth ride, and all gouges are welded and hand detailed to exact specifications. The old wheel finish and any contaminants are removed, leaving bare metal. The applicable finish is then applied, including powder coating or liquid painting. If polishing is required, not only the face of the wheel but the entire barrel will be polished using state-of-the-art equipment. A final step of powder or liquid clear coat is applied and baked on for long lasting durability.

CCI wheels are remanufactured to meet or exceed SAE and ASTM wheel testing standards. To ensure this, wheels are periodically selected at random and tested. The Radial Fatigue Test stresses the wheel with a heavier than normal load in a straight line simulation, while the Rotary Fatigue Test stresses the wheel with a heavier than normal load in a cornering situation. CCI remanufactured alloy wheels exceed the standards for these tests and perform better than brand new wheels. The Side Impact Test simulates impacting/curbing wheels at high speed. CCI wheels met the standards for this test and equaled the performance of new wheels.
