Posi Quiet™ Disc Brake Pads by Centric®. With these brake pads, you will experience excellent braking performance along with the assurance that your brakes and rotors will last for many miles. To ensure quiet operation, these brake components come with mechanically attached shims on the back of them.

These brake pads are designed to offer stable friction performance across a wide temperature range (particularly with higher temperatures) while reducing rotor and pad wear. They're excellent for fleet service, SUVs, and heavy-duty applications. Providing you with excellent braking power right out of the box, these extended wear brake pads bring a number of other benefits. Each pad is scorched to remove any impurities in the friction compound and eliminate the need for break-in period. The pads are manufactured using OE positive mold technology that brings the benefit of consistent friction material density throughout the pad ensuring its long wear life. Shimmed to eliminate noise and vibration, each pad set also comes with hardware where applicable, including stainless abutment clips and retaining clips.

These brake pads by Centric comply to current brake friction material state legislation such as CASB346 California Brake Friction Legislation, WA6557 Washington Brake Friction Legislation, and others. To meet all requirements, Posi Quiet® Extended Wear brake pads are 100% asbestos-free. As a member of the Brake Manufacturers Council, Centric has been involved in the development of the LeafMark and edge code legislation. This code can be found printed on every Extended Wear brake pad manufactured after January 1, 2014 and indicates the level of compliance with state friction material content legislation.

Posi Quiet Extended Wear Semi-Metallic Front Brake Pads
I couldn't wait till these Posi Quiet Pads were delivered. I always research the products I am interested in buying. These brake pads were highly rated. I received them in about 3 business days. I bought both front and rear pads. They look very sturdy and are easy to install. I have had them on my car for about 2 weeks. I can feel the firmness of the pads when I press on the brakes. They are quiet as described. I should get 35,000 miles on these pads easily. I also like the fact TRUCKiD matches other retailers prices. I will buy all my auto parts from TRUCKiD. Bought For BMW Z3
I found these pads to be a lot nicer than expected for the price point. Solid construction and the built in shims mad installation easy. I did all four wheels in an hour. Very smooth braking with minimal dust.

Works Great on 2004 CTS
I was told by the dealer that you can't replace just break pads on a Cadillac; you have to do rotors as well which is over 1k. They said that no matter what you do the breaks will squeak, but this isn't the case with the Posi-Quiet. The pads fit great and if you know what you're doing then it'll take you 30-45 min to install. Great stopping power and no squeaks. Will definitely buy again.

Good Fit, No Squeal
Installed Saturday. Fit well and no noise on my 2010 Corolla LE. Not the cheapest option but safety is important to me. Quiet, even braking important as well. Other brands my mechanic chose were chirpy the first 2 months. Wore out way too soon.

Really Dissatisfied
These brakes only lasted 15000 miles and started grinding up my rotor into dust.

C-Tek Ceramic Front Disk Pads/ Centric 103.16140
1. Very good fade resistance 2. very quiet throughout the wear life 3. driven approx. 50,000 kilometers (has about 3 months life left) bought in september 2019 to current sept 2020. 4. previously bought the semi metallic pads and they were very noisy, experienced massive brake fade at low and fast deceleration speeds, the ceramic has none of these issues. 5. highly recommended for Suzuki Swift zc72s. 6. wish they came with the brake hardware like the sport version of the swift does...and wish C-Tek sold the brake slide pins and rubber boot for zc72s. 7. good value for money
