Universal Tire Inner Liner Scraper by Cerebrum®. The Tire Inner Liner Scraper is an essential tool for scraping the inner liner of the tire when preparing for installation of Cerebrum Sensors. This tool is not required, however, recommended to help remove the mold release oil from the inner liner. This tool is particularly useful for tires with variable inner liner surfaces which may collect these oils as opposed to a smooth surface which can be cleaned with a standard rag. Removing the surface chemicals is critical, failure to do so can lead to insufficient bond strength, failure of the product and potentially damage to the vehicle. Use this tool in conjunction with acetone or pre-buff cleaner to ensure a permanent bond.
