Cipher Racing 5-Point Harness is universal and fits most of aftermarket Racing Seats. It's designed for Safety, Support & Comfort. Quick release buckle technology makes it easy for entry & exit. The shoulder straps are long enough to extend to the rear seats of sedans or can be wrapped around a roll cage harness bar.
Racing harnesses serve two purposes: most of the time, they work in concert with a proper racing seat to restrain the driver so they don’t move unnecessarily around in the seat. That improves their ability to drive at speed. But in the unlikely event of a crash, it keeps them safely inside the roll cage. Old-fashioned harnesses were basically parachute harnesses, with unwieldy buckles that took three or four hands to buckle. These high-tech belts use a central lock that allows you to plug the shoulder, lap and submarine belts into the buckle individually, and release them all at once. It’s a great timesaver in the pits when you’re trying to belt up while wearing a driving suit, helmet and gloves.
