FX400 Series 6-Puck Transmission Clutch Kit by Clutch Masters®The FX400 ceramic paddle design creates a quick and rapid engagement as well as clutch chatter that may not be ideal for street driven vehicles. Ceramic based clutch discs are not intended to increase the life expectancy of a clutch rather to increase the holding capacity and improve the durability of the clutch. Using a ceramic based material for easy street driving may reduce the life of the clutch kit due to harsh engagement and higher tendency to slip the clutch kit.

The FX400 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate with a custom, extremely durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration, with the 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and 8-puck being the less aggressive. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.

Clutch Masters performance clutch products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Clutch Masters does not warrant or make any representations concerning its clutch products when not installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for such installation and maintenance practices of the automotive industry.

Racing Clutch

It's a little difficult to get in first and reverse. Because you have to work with the clutch. But other than that it's a very good clutch. Oh, also the bitting point is higher than normal.

I bought this kit and running strong and grabs very well, at first I was sketchy since never had a new clutch but then realized after breaking it in runs very smooth.

FX100 Clutch

I didn't install this item but from what I was told by my shop it went in fine. I don't have it fully broken in yet but so far it's performing great. Very little sound difference with just a slight increase in pedal stiffness.

Unboxing Performance

So far the kit comes with everything you would need to install it minus technical savvy, but all components look to be well made the quality is great, I have yet to install it and test it after break in but I will be updating this review then.

High Quality Clutch

The product came very fast. It was packaged very nice and secure. I had a shop install it and they said they had no problems. The clutch is very high quality, I can tell it's better when driving.
