Elite™ 1/2" Black Heater Hose (65070) by Continental® ContiTech™. Position: Thermostat To Pipe-1. Inside Diameter: 1/2". This hose is highly resistant to antifreeze coolants and underhood temperatures. Tube and cover are manufactured from EPDM rubber with superior resistance to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. Each hose is reinforced with 2-spiral synthetic for greater strength and durability.
The Hy-T Black hoses by Continental Elite™ are just the ticket for the applications where excellent resistance to antifreeze coolants and underhood temperatures is required. A combination of the EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) construction plus 2-spiral synthetic reinforcement gives this hose the strength and resistance to extreme conditions under the hood. EPDM is a quality synthetic rubber that effectively withstands heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. Double-spiral synthetic reinforcement allows for greater burst strength and resistance to collapse.
