30K Puck System 5th Wheel Rails by CURT®. 30000 lb Towing Capacity. The CURT PowerRide 30K 5th wheel hitch equips your pickup truck with a profession-grade solution for 5th wheel towing. It features a 30,000-pound, fully tested rating, a cast head with multi-directional tilt, an easy-to-use self-resetting handle, enhanced portability and no welding or fabricating required for installation.

Get professional-grade 5th wheel towing power with the CURT PowerRide™. This 30K 5th wheel hitch is engineered to give you industry-leading 5th wheel capacity with ergonomic operation. Some of its advanced features include a self-resetting handle, multi-directional head, one-pin head removal and strategic grip points for easier mobility. It is also fully tested according to SAE J2638 specifications for safety.

The CURT PowerRide™ 30K 5th wheel hitch is designed for ease of use while having the capability to tow the largest 5th wheel trailers. It begins with a self-resetting handle and coupling indicator. The sophisticated handle self-resets after uncoupling your trailer, making it ready to couple again, without an extra step. The handle is also easier reach and operate from the side of the truck. The color-coded indicator shows the coupling status, giving you better eyes on the towing connection without having to frequently climb in and out of the truck bed (verify connection before towing).

The head of the PowerRide™ 5th wheel trailer hitch is comprised of a cast steel yoke that tilts in multiple directions - not just front to back - promoting a smoother ride and quieter connection. The hitch has a cast steel body for exceptional strength and operating precision, and it uses two interlocking jaws to fully wrap the kingpin for less chucking. To ensure long-lasting use, the 5th wheel plate is equipped with wear indicator plates. These indicators also contribute to smoother towing and eliminates the need for messy grease.

Installing the PowerRide™ and relocating it for storage is made easier with several unique design enhancements. The head assembly is attached with a single pin, allowing you to quickly dismantle the hitch into smaller, lighter-weight components for easier handling. The hitch is also equipped with strategically placed grip points for a comfortable, confident hold when lifting. Installation requires no welding and no fabrication. CURT MANUFACTURING, LLC provides limited lifetime warranty coverage against defects in factory workmanship and materials for CURT® products sold by authorized CURT dealers for use by retail (end use) consumers. This Limited Warranty is provided only to the original product consumer, and applies only to the original installation. This Limited Warranty is not transferable and does not extend or apply to anyone else. For consumers in the U.S.: this Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you also may have other rights, which vary from state to state. This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by CURT, and all other warranties and conditions are excluded and disclaimed.

Misuse, abuse, overloading, improper trailering or hauling, accident

Solid Hitch

Had issues with my previous hitch lots of chucking and noise. Switched to this Power ride 30K, it fixed all that and it handles my 5th wheel like a champ. No noise and I trust it with the heavy loads.

A16 5th Wheel Wedge Kit

I made a mistake when I order this item, the need was for a curt E-16k, that's why I order the other one specialy for the E-16, I received it and I'm ok with it, but the first one is useless. Everything was right, the error was mine.

Great Hitch. But...

This is a great hitch. The legs fit perfectly in my 2016 Nissan Titan XD factory pucks. I do like that the hitch itself can be easily removed for proper storage. Hitching and un-hitching work seamlessly. My Grand Design Fifth Wheel Trailer came equipped with the Lippert Turning Point Pin Box. The ‘universal’ wedge plate that came with the trailer does not work with the Curt A16. The funnel is a bit too wide and the ‘short side’ of the wedge hits the king pin before the wedge shoulders make contact with the hitch funnel.
