Product Details

Universal Anti-Rattle for 1-1/4" Hollow Shank by CURT®. Stops rattle in a hollow-shank accessory. Packaged. Receiver Tube Size: 1-1/4". Finish: Yellow zinc. Stop a rattling ball mount, cargo carrier, bike rack or other hitch-mounted accessory in its tracks with an anti-rattle kit from CURT. When towing, there is nothing more annoying than a ball mount shank that rattles in its receiver tube as you drive down the road. This rattling sound comes from a small amount of space between the receiver tube and an ill-fitting shank. If this gap is bad enough, it can even lead to sway in the load.

A CURT anti-rattle kit eliminates the problem of an ill-fitting ball mount shank by securing it with a metal bracket and threaded bolt. The anti-rattle bracket inserts into the ball mount shank and accepts the threaded bolt. Once tightened, the bolt and bracket assembly firmly hold the ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory in place and ensure rattling and swaying are no longer a problem. CURT anti-rattle kits are made from solid steel to be strong enough to resist rattling noises even with large trailers, and they feature a yellow zinc finish to protect against corrosion.

Each of the warranty coverage periods runs from the date of purchase of the product (proof of purchase is required) and applies only to warranted defects that first occur and are reported to CURT within the applicable warranty period. Certain items are excluded from Limited Warranty coverage by CURT, and this Limited Warranty coverage does not apply to:

Wear and tear from normal use, including damage from road debris
Improper product selection, application, installation or maintenance
Modifications, including the attachment of other hardware or components
Misuse, abuse, overloading, improper trailering or hauling, accident

Bike Rack Signals

I have a hitch-mounted bike rack that blocks my signals. These auxiliary lights the perfect solution to make my rig a lot safer on the road. If I find a brighter set I'd replace these. But for now, these are the best on the market. Plug for Curt. The first set arrived broken and Curt sent the replacement ASAP without asking for a return.

Great for Hitch Basket

These worked perfect on my hitch basket. I wired them neatly with a few zip ties underneath, and some plastic wire harness covers. (Hint: Just make sure you look at which one is left vs right before you stick them on).

Great Lock

Got this set for my new Curt 45902 ball mount which is the for the 2.5 inch receiver. Works awesome. To keep the locks from sliding side to side I added a couple water hose gaskets on both ends. So if you're wondering if these will fit your 2.5 inch receivers, they will with space to add gaskets. Great product to keep people honest and not take your ball mount or your balls.

Curt Anti Rattle (Very Good Quality)

The picture is different from the actual product, but works just as good or better. The product is high quality. I had to return the product because it would not fit on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. The bolt is too short because of how the hitch receiver is made on the Tacoma.
