Product Details

Universal TruTrack™ Replacement Weight Distribution Spring Bar (17537) by CURT®. This replacement TruTrack™ spring bar for #17501 features forged steel construction and a durable powder coat finish for long-lasting use. It offers a gross trailer weight capacity of 10,000 - 15,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 1000 - 1500 lbs. It also features a unique spring and cam system that builds up pressure to actively stop sway and then relaxes to make smooth turns. The hardened components are less subject to wear and last longer than competitor models. The CURT weight distribution hitch is a specialized towing system that provides improved vehicle and trailer control by leveling the trailer and more evenly distributing its tongue weight across the trailer's and vehicle's axles. Weight distribution hitches are commonly used on travel trailers and campers but can also be applied to other large loads.

Great Item
Best item for the price. Hope it works as good as it sounds like it does. And yes box was destroyed upon delivery but only the bar was missing to help latch the chains.

Great Company
Order hitch because best price I found, arrived quickly. Box was shredded and taped back to gether118 pound package, weighed less than 40lbs. Missing over half of receiver NO FAULT OF TRUCKiD refused package, called custom service, received almost immediate call back, Customer support was great little hard to understand, but great had new receiver in two days. Thank you TRUCKiD, product was exactly as described very happy with receiver.

Great Quality
The hitch arrived fast and in great condition. The quality of the product is second to none. Curt’s customer support was helpful to answer questions. The design not only uses the bars for sway control, but also the hitch pivot point. The hitch does make some noise when turning, but is much less than other hitches with this design. The ball comes installed from the factory.
