Elite Series 5th Wheel Tailgate (V-EL28) by Custom Flow®. Only Custom Flow Elite Series tailgates use the exclusive factory installed rotary latches. There are no brackets, fittings or hardware to install! The Custom Flow Elite Series tailgate easily mounts directly to your truck’s original factory hardware, because it is specially engineered to fit your specific make and model. The durable black powder coat finish may be painted to match your vehicle’s factory color.

The tailgate offers a smooth, contoured frame on either side of the unit that is designed to match the body work of the vehicle, and it comes with black powder coated louvers. Custom Flow Elite Series tailgates enhance your vehicle's appearance, increases mileage (less wind resistance), and improves safety (much better vision when backing up). These louvered tailgates are easily opened and closed thanks to the uniquely designed rotary latches and center pull handle while eliminating exposed cables and wires. They come completely assembled and are easy to install. Custom Flow Elite Series tailgates fit directly onto the original factory hardware of each individual truck make or model.

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

Custom Flow warrants aftermarket tailgates, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for which they were intended. Custom Flow’s obligation under this warranty is limited to replacing, free of charge, any defective part or parts. Custom Flow is not responsible for the installation of replacement parts. If a defect, falling within the warranty guidelines, cannot be remedied with replacement parts, as determined by Custom Flow, the company shall provide a new tailgate.

This warranty shall not apply to any Custom Flow tailgate, or part thereof, which has been painted, repaired or altered in any way, or subject to misuse, negligence or accident, or has not been operated or installed in accordance with Custom Flow instructions or has been operated or used under conditions more severe than, or otherwise exceeding, those provided by Custom Flow relating to the tailgate.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose not set forth in writing signed by an authorized representative of Custom Flow. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, this exclusion from liability includes damages for which the purchaser may be liable to other persons, damages to property, and injury or death of any person. Warning - light duty use only, maximum load capacity – 200 lbs.

Great Tailgate

I love this tailgate. So easy to install. Perfect for rv fifthwheel campers. No more remembering to lower the tailgate while loading or unloading. Very lightweight to handle or remove.

3 Months Late

The product looks great. Truly enjoyed putting it on. However there's definitely more to complain about than be excited about. I ordered this as a Father's Day gift a week before Father's Day and it took 3 full months to get to me. The customer service was great and very responsive. However they just kept pushing the shipping date back it was extremely frustrating. I told them I've never written a bad review and I never planned on writing one but when your 3 months late it's hard not to speak your voice. Also the tailgate had a dent in it from shipping. Besides that decent tailgate.

5th Wheel Tailgate

Other than how long it took to get and I did find a dent on it I love the looks and that it comes pretty much ready to install out of the box. I would recommend this tailgate.

Awesome Product!

I was very pleased with the quality of the tailgate and the ease of installation! The Camera kit installation was a little confusing due to the low quality photos included in the instructions, but overall I am 100% satisfied.

Custom Flow 5th Wheel Tail Gate

I had this almost a year and it fit perfect with little to no adjustments. The quality if very high and durable. I usually remove it summer and winter to a regular tail gate and this is so nice, fits perfect and very durable ,not flimsey, that I have not taken it off all year. The lock works well took 5 minute to adjust it. The tailgate is a solid fit and not susceptable to bending or flexing. Worth every penny.

Great Product!

I ordered this for my work truck because I haul things I don't want to slide out the 5th wheel tailgate. Worked perfectly, was easy to install (just 4 pins took 2 min), and actually made my tailgate look better! Thanks for a great product!

Worst Quality Tailgate

The quality of this tailgate is horrible! I thought I was getting a quality product, but instead I was highly unsatisfied with the fit and finish! Tin trash!
