Universal 19.7" Engine Bay Multicolor LED Strip Kit (DD0440) by Diode Dynamics®. 2 Pieces. 9-16V DC. 13.2V/0.285A. Add RGBW color-changing ability to your vehicle with Multicolor Engine Bay LED Strip Kit! This product is not just RGB, it is RGBW! That means there is an extra integrated LED chip that is specifically white in color, right next to the standard red, green, and blue LEDs. By using an RGBW controller, you can activate and control the white chip independently of the colors. This provides a much more uniform, pure, and bright white color than the traditional method of combining all RGB signals. With our multicolor LED strips installed, the possibilities are endless!

Warranty

All Products: 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty

Diode Dynamics carries a 3-year limited warranty on all products, for manufacturing defects or product failure. If Diode Dynamics determines that your product is defective in material or workmanship, Diode Dynamics will issue an RMA number. For approved warranty claims, Diode Dynamics will replace the defective product with the same product or, if it has been discontinued, one comparable in performance and value. Diode Dynamics product warranty is limited to product replacement only. Diode Dynamics does not offer compensation or coverage of installation labor or time that may be required for replacement of warranty items.

Select Products: 8-Year Limited Warranty

In addition to the above 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty, Diode Dynamics carries an 8-year Limited Warranty on select products. Currently, this includes and is limited to all Stage Series products. After 3 years of Replacement Limited Warranty, Diode Dynamics will continue to warrant that select products are free of defects for up to 8 years from when the product was ordered. These products will be replaced or repaired, at the sole discretion of Diode Dynamics.

All warranties are non-transferable. Warranty terms and policies are subject to change without notice. All warranties, expressed or implied, are void if the warranty claim department determines that there is sufficient evidence of one or more of the following:

Negligence: Improper installation or improper use, including using or installing any product in a manner not specified by Diode Dynamics, or damage caused by improper installation
Abuse: Damage beyond the limits of "normal wear and tear"
Unauthorized Repair: Repair service performed or attempted by an unauthorized party
Unauthorized Dealer: Purchase of items through any unauthorized party

Some products may be modified in the course of installation or use by the customer to suit a particular need. However, opening, disassembling, cutting wires, or otherwise modifying any product in a manner not specified by Diode Dynamics will void the product warranty.

Replacing lenses on lightbars will void the 3-year limited replacement warranty. However, the 8-year limited warranty will be upheld and in effect. In the case of moisture intrusion, you may be required to open and re-seal the lamp yourself. If issues persist, Diode Dynamics may require that the lightbar is sent for repair.

Really Bright

I bought this product thinking that it's probably not going to be too bright, but I just wanted something to light up the engine bay a little more, but it turned out to be really good. I didn't use the adapters that came with it, but you could put it on a switch if you wanted to or make it, so it comes on with your factory light. If you're going to use a switch you definitely going to need more wire because it only came with about 5 feet of wire, but it's enough to reach the factory light assembly.
