Universal 79.6" Flexible Series RGBW LED Strip (DD2253) by Diode Dynamics®. 1 Piece. 9-16V DC. This product is made of high-quality materials to serve you for years to come. This product designed using state-of-the-art technology and with customers in mind. It will meet your needs and deliver great quality at an affordable cost.

Cut to size. These LED strips are flexible, IP67 weatherproof SMD-type LED strips, with 3 SMDs per 5 cm. They are cuttable every 3 chips, to size to your need, and come with 3M adhesive backing. Due to the weatherproofing, cut portions cannot be reattached without manual soldering, which removes the weatherproofing properties. Weatherproofing can be reapplied through waterproofing products. Installation. All RGB multicolor strips have standard RGB wiring attached, to be connected to any RGB controller (not included). They recommend the use of Diode Dynamics standard DC wall adapters, along with splitters as needed, which will plug directly into an RGB controller. Experience. Really Bright
I bought this product thinking that it's probably not going to be too bright, but I just wanted something to light up the engine bay a little more, but it turned out to be really good. I didn't use the adapters that came with it, but you could put it on a switch if you wanted to or make it, so it comes on with your factory light. If you're going to use a switch you definitely going to need more wire because it only came with about 5 feet of wire, but it's enough to reach the factory light assembly.
