    Everything you need right here
    This is a very well made product that is super easy to install and will save several hundred dollars over buying a new door panel on the Chevy Silverado. Chevy does not sell this repair part, only the entire door panel at a cost of over $400. I have the WT model truck with manual windows and without power locks. To remove the door panel, you will need the window crank removal tool or check on youtube for a couple of tricks to remove it with a towel. I have the tool and it was a snap to remove...maybe 15 minutes. Installing the kit from Dorman took less than 10 minutes and the door panel was back on in another 15 minutes. My only caution is in using the provided drill bit, which is exactly what you need to remove the plastic snap fitting the factory uses to install the assembly into the door panel. You are only trying to drill out a very small section of the plastic to release it from the assembly and NO FURTHER. You need the plastic nub that protrudes for the screws to attach the new assembly and so you don't want to drill those out by going too far. I messed up one, but the other 5 are plenty to secure the assembly. Great kit and an easy repair for a broken pot metal/cable connection that should have been better quality from Chevy in the first place.

    Perfect!
    I have bought several door handles for my car over the years and none of them has lasted very long. I found out very early that you open the door handle very slowly or the stupid thing will break, as it is made of plastic only. I ran into this one while once again looking for another handle. My hopes are up due to this one is made of plastic and medal. So far it's working fine.

    Good
    The spring that allows the handle to spring back into place popped out of place multiple times due to the retainer plastic that holds the handle in place being spaced too far apart and I had to push the two pieces together for the handle to work but there is no guarantee that it will remain.

    Very Clear
    The handle looked exactly like the factory original. I had it installed and it took them very little time. So far it has worked perfectly. These handles were originally defective on Trackers as they break very easily (plastic parts), so it will take time to see if these are more durable. I was very happy to find TRUCKiD as your prices are much more reasonable and realistic for the same product as other companies.

    Interior Door Handle
    My inside door handle broke from the extreme NY cold weather this winter. I ordered the new handle and TRUCKiD sent it the same week. I went to the mechanic and he kept asking if I had to go to the dealer for the part because it was very expensive. I said no I got it for a great price online. I only had to pay for the work and I was done in minutes thanks to TRUCKiD. Door hasn't given me any issues since.

    I received this part in a on time. It was a prefect fit. My only disappointment was it was not available in chrome.
