RAM 1500 Trailer Brake Control Module - Easy to Install
Easy to order...the online confirmation that it would work in my truck was a big help. It showed up on time and was installed that same day. I watched a few online videos so I knew how to take the various panels off successfully. The biggest pain was getting my fingers up in the dash area to get the bolts started and then getting the socket wrench to do its thing. There is not much room but with persistence, you will get the 3 bolts tightened down. The two cables were hidden under tape but were easy to locate with the help of videos. Everything fit and looks nice. You will have to go to the dealer to get the towing app enabled but that was about a 15-minute job and cost me $140. It will cost you about the same if you buy this with the 3rd party tool (but do you want to run the risk of bricking your truck?). Overall, looks good, fits correctly and works as expected. I will buy from this vendor again.
