Why Fabric Coating Kit?

Maintain Your Fabric's Look
Much like plastic and paint, fabric too can be discolored and degraded by the sun's UV rays. Knowing this, Dr. Beasley's formulated Fabric Coating with UV inhibiting properties so your fabric stays vibrant even if you have to leave your car in the baking sun. Fabric Coating's barrier is fully invisible and doesn't alter the texture of your fabric either, meaning your fabric won't look or feel any different than before.

How Does It Work?
Any time a liquid comes in contact with a fabric surface, it seeps into the invisible gaps of yarn or fiber that make up the fabric, tainting the surface with an unsightly stain. To prevent this, Dr. Beasley's Fabric Coating crosslinks with your prepped fabric to form a hydrophobic barrier that causes liquids to bead on top for ridiculously easy clean-up. After an hour to set, your fabric will be fully protected. This applies to any fabric - car seats, mats, convertible tops, backpacks, carpet, you name it. For microsuede surfaces, use Dr. Beasley's Microsuede Protection.

Application Instructions
1. Ensure fabric surfaces are clean and dry before application.
2. If your fabric has a fibrous texture, use a brush to push the fibers in one direction. Shake the Fabric Coating Prep bottle, then spray onto the fabric surface holding bottle six inches away. Brush the fibers in the opposite direction, then spray again.
3. Gently wipe surface with clean, dry microfiber towel.
4. Shake the Fabric Coating bottle, then spray onto the fabric surface holding bottle six inches away. Brush the fibers in the opposite direction, then spray again. Apply evenly to ensure full coverage.
5. Let cure undisturbed for at least 1 hour.
6. To test the success of the application, sprinkle a few drops of water onto the coated fabric surface. If the droplets soak in rather than beading on top, repeat steps 2-5.
