Why The Plastic Trim Coating Kit?
The Plastic Trim Coating Kit is a powerful ceramic nano coating for your car's exterior plastic trim. But why does your plastic need a coating in the 1st place?

Keep Your Plastic From Fading
You've just washed your car and you're pretty satisfied with how it looks. You take a step back to marvel at your baby when all of a sudden it hits you: your plastic bumper is still a dull shade of gray. You can thank the sun for that - its UV rays break down the molecular bonds that give your plastic color, causing it to fade. To stop this from happening again, you'll need something to keep the sun out. That's why Dr. Beasley's formulated the Plastic Trim Coating with intensive UV-inhibitors. Its protective barrier stops UV rays from breaking down your plastic's color, keeping it as vibrant as ever. When used on recently restored or brand new plastic, it'll stay fresh and beautiful for years to come.

Resist Marring and Etching
The soft nature of plastic surfaces makes them especially prone to micro-marring and etching. Whether it's kicked up rocks from the road, acidic bug guts, or wash marks from cleaning, your plastic will get torn up in no time. To toughen up your exterior plastic, you'll need the kind of protection only Plastic Trim Coating can provide. When applied, it creates an invisible, highly durable shield against micro-marring and etching, guaranteeing your plastic will resist fine scratches and corrosive contaminants to a great degree.

Make Cleaning Fast and Easy
Since plastic trim is usually confined to wheel arches and bumpers, it often gets hit the hardest when it comes to caked-on contaminants. Just one pass through a muddy puddle can have your plastic trim totally plastered with dried gunk. If you don't want to spend hours scrubbing away dirt, you'll want to have the hydrophobicity of a Plastic Trim Coating. This hydrophobicity prevents liquids from clinging to your plastic's surface, so they'll slide right off in a rinse. You'll be able to drive with confidence knowing kicked up mud won't give you trouble.

How Does It Work?
The Plastic Trim Coating Kit works as a system, using the Plastic Trim Coating Prep to neutralize the pH level for optimal bonding. When the coating itself is applied, it creates a cross-linked bond, chemically fusing with the plastic. Once cured, this bond creates a permanent invisible barrier that inhibits UV rays, resists micro-marring and etching, while lowering surface energy to bead liquids, preventing staining.

Application Instructions
1. Thoroughly clean and dry the plastic surface before application. If plastic surface is in contact with a painted panel, mask the area in contact with automotive masking tape to avoid overspray.
2. Shake Plastic Trim Coating Prep. Spray it on the plastic surface and wipe it off. Repeat until all plastic surfaces are prepped.
3.Shake Plastic Trim Coating and prime the foam block applicator by applying 8-10 drops.
4. Move the applicator in horizontal then vertical lines across the plastic surface. Use overlapping strokes to maintain even coverage.
5. After a few minutes, you will see the product flashing (it will appear slightly iridescent). Wipe off with a clean, dry microfiber towel.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 until all exterior plastic surfaces on the vehicle are protected. Re-apply several drops of Plastic Trim Coating on your applicator as needed.
7. Let the Plastic Trim Coating cure for 30 minutes - 1 hour before being exposed to the environment.

Dr. Beasley's Suggests:
Test for compatibility by applying a small amount to an inconspicuous area. Apply in a shaded area to a cool surface. Apply an additional layer of Plastic Trim Coating to high impact areas, following steps 3-5.
Do not wash the vehicle for 7 days after application.
Keep the bottle closed when not in use.
