Product Details

GeoSpec® Plain Disc Brake Rotor by DFC®. DFC is excited and proud to introduce newest short line of premium corrosion-resistant brake rotors - DFC GeoSpec® Coated Brake Rotors. Specially coated with a patented paint to form a durable and attractive silver-gray finish that fights rust far better than other conventional paint or zinc coatings.

All DFC GeoSpec® Coated Brake Rotors are specially coated with a patented paint to form a durable and attractive silver-gray finish that fights rust far better than other conventional paint or zinc coatings. Each DFC GeoSpec® Coated Brake Rotors is processed dry, shipped dry, and ready to install without any additional preparation. An average brake job takes 1.25-2.5 hours per axle. Without the need to clean an oil covered rotor, this saves a tremendous amount of time and money during the installation process. The coating is simply and safely swept away by the friction material with no harmful effects. Each rotor casting is sent to state of the art machining facilities, where it is processed to the tightest tolerances available in the market today. Then, the rotor is prepared with a non-directional finish to promote a faster and more even brake pad bed-in, along with quieter and smoother stops. Finally, all vented rotors are 100% inspected for balance and are corrected if necessary with state of the art electronic mill-balance process. After all of the machining processes are completed, each rotor passes a 100% inspection station that measures all critical attributes to ensure that each rotor meets OE specifications. This further guarantees that each and every rotor delivered to you is trouble free.

Get Them While You Can
DFC are on the ball. These Outlander Sport front pads are Korea sourced. The friction looks thoroughly mixed and cured post molding. The rears for this vehicle are a different mix with graphite chunks but also impressive manufacturing.

10/10 upgrade
Replaced my stock rotors with these on my 2020 840i. Gotta be honest, I wasn't 100% sure these would make a difference. But they grip fine, braking is smoother and not sketchy in the rain. Not to mention, they look nice behind the wheels, definitely adds a little aggressive touch.

I Don't Use Any Other Pad For Track Days!
Having tested OEM, Powerstop Track Day vs these DFC AP pads on a track, I can attest that they work as well or better than the others. Minimal fade (fade being typical of poor trail-braking technique), little rotor wear, and consistent braking distance all make this a very good performance brake pad. Are they true "racing" pads? No, but how good of a driver must you be to really notice the difference? Face it: Most of us aren't good enough track drivers to justify the expense of $200+ racing pads. FYI: I have 6 sets of these sitting on my shelf (since they last about one track weekend). And I wouldn't stock these if I hadn't found them to be excellent pads.
