A hood protector, aka hood or bug shield, is a strip of durable plastic that attaches to the front of the vehicle's hood to deflect bugs.     Looks Great Once Installed
    This looks great once installed. The order of installing things is messed up. It would be much better to get the center four tabs installed BEFORE trying to install the four, two on each side of the center, attachments. This way you know exactly where to place them to line up with the predrilled hole. Trying to hold the whole shield in place to mark where the outter attachment points are in very difficult to do with the needed accuracy.

    Nice Accessory!
    Nice touch and looks great! Hood shield gets 5 stars. White tabs get zero stars. The locking portion on the tabs will not lock and pulls loose when positioning the hood shield. Super glued them in position.

    Sleek Looking Hood Shield!
    Beautiful looking hood shield! Only four stars due to the fact that the clips the attach to the factory hood holes will not stay snapped. The snap part that locks when you press it in place is non-existent. They will not stay in place when placing the hood shield. I used super glue to hold the tabs. They hold now! Shield is 5 stars. Tabs are 0 stars. TRUCKiD is a terrific company! Not the first buy from here and definitely not the last!

    Great Product
    Got it for my 2015 Silverado in Matte Black. It was very easy to install instructions were very easy to follow. The material feels great and looks like it will last me for a good amount of time. And it looks simply awesome.

    2017 Outback Deflector
    My search for a bug deflector for my 2017 ended when I found TRUCKiD. My deflector arrived undamaged and looked great. Installation was a snap with a perfect fit to mirror and area protected. All components fit and worked well. Would recommend this product for those who drive a lot on the highways as deflectors have helped minimize damage from road debris on my cars in the past.
