Reinforced steel construction with zinc plating offers high strength and corrosion resistance, and polyurethane bushings that fit over the stops provide resilient cushioning and durability without drying out or crumbling the way rubber pieces can. Bushings are available in multiple colors.
Tailgate hinge brackets are designed to secure your factory tailgate tightly in place when closed. Rubber bump stop pads that fit over the stops provide proper cushioning for your tailgate hinge itself, and they prevent the tailgate from rattling over bumps. If original rubber pads have degraded or metal stops have become damaged or bent, Energy Suspension offers the Tailgate Hinge Bracket and Bushing Set. The hinge brackets are made from reinforced steel, then plated with zinc for long-lasting corrosion protection.
Bushings made of polyurethane provide stronger, more resilient cushioning that will not collapse, deform, or crumble the way rubber mounts can. Polyurethane offers the ability to stand up and perform extremely well under extreme temperatures and resist degrading after being exposed to road grime, salt, even leaking oils or other vehicle fluids. They’re available in your choice of red or black.
