    Stage 2 Cerametallic Transmission Clutch Kit (15954) by EXEDY®EXEDY cerametallic clutches are engineered to handle the abuse of high powered modified engines. EXEDY cerametallic friction material can handle much more slippage than stock type disc assemblies can without slipping and fading. All cerametallic discs feature spring center dampers to reduce impact and shock loads.

    Installation

    With 40% more clamping load, the cover used for Stage 2 clutches adds plenty of torque capacity without making pedal pressures uncomfortably high. The cerametallic friction material used is much more tolerant of slippage than stock-type discs. But the real performance advantage to a Stage 2 clutch is the lightweight friction disc. The reduced rotating weight makes your engine rev faster, decelerate more quickly when you lift off the throttle, and takes strain off your transmission synchronizers for faster shifting. For most uses, the thicker disc has better heat capacity, allowing you to creep through traffic or slip the clutch while off-roading. Save the thin disc assembly for circuit racing, where clutch longevity is less important.

    Feels Amazing
    The stage clutch feel way better than the stock one that was on my car, I can definitely feel the difference, performance wise it's a lot stiffer it runs smoothly, it's just amazing, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone I know!

    Exedy Clutch Kit Stage 2
    Shipping was excellent, quick and everything was there fitment was like OEM. Definitely recommend this product, clutch feels great grabs very well, minimal clutch noise as stated. (Installed on: 98 eclipse gst turbo 6 bolt).

    Exedy Stage 2 Racing Clutch
    I got the Exedy stage 2 race clutch for my Subaru WRX that stopped going into gear suddenly, installed the new clutch and wouldn't ya know it my stock clutch looked like a brake rotor. Was a little clanky at first (almost sounds like turbo heat shield rattle) other than that it was a great product clutch is stiffer than ever and car shifts smoother than it ever has before.

    Not Sure Yet
    The kit arrived early, and packed well. Everything looked great. That said, since the kit was installed the clutch has been dragging, creeping in first and second gear from a stop. When in the air, you can shift freely up to 4th gear without stalling the engine, without the clutch pedal. The Mazda dealership suggested that the pressure plate might be too weak to properly disengage (wrong plate, or low quality) the clutch plate. They were clear it might be something else however, though they think this is likely, so I do not quite know how to review this. After paying for the installation, I have not had enough money to have them pull it down to figure it out, so the car isn't drive-able.
