Universal MaxSeal™ Tailgate Seal (1140) by Extang®. 1 Piece. Dimensions: 102" Length. However great the Extang tonneau covers are designed, they need a little bit of help to fully protect your truck bed from dust and water. It is all because of the gaps between the tailgate and bed. That's why if you want to take full advantage of your Extang tonno, you need to seal the tailgate. The MaxSeal will easily do the job and keep your covered bed dry and clean.

This strong and flexible tailgate seal is a must for all trucks with a tonneau cover, topper, or lid. It keeps moisture and dust out of the truck bed and makes it as snug as a regular car trunk. The MaxSeal is manufactured of all-weather EPDM rubber that is highly resistant to UV, gas, and oil. So be sure, the seal will serve you for years to come. Perhaps the best thing about this seal is that it features universal fit, so you just cut it to the length you need, then peel off the backing paper to expose the adhesive, and sick the seal where it belongs to. You'll be ready to head off in minutes.

Lifetime Frame & Tarp: The Revolution Tonno, Express Tonno, Trifecta 2.0, Trifecta 2.0 Signature, and eMAX Tonno carry a lifetime warranty against defective materials or workmanship on all tonneau rails, aluminum components, clamps, bows, hardware and vinyl covering.

Lifetime Frame & 10-Year Tarp: The Classic Platinum, BlackMax, FullTilt, and Tuff Tonno carry a lifetime warranty against defective materials or workmanship on all tonneau rails, aluminum components, clamps, bows, hardware. And a 10-year warranty against defective materials or workmanship on the vinyl covering.

The Solid Fold, Solid Fold 2.0, and EnCore carry a three-year warranty against defective materials or workmanship on all tonneau rails, aluminum components, clamps, bows, hardware.

The Solid Fold 2.0 UTV carries a 90-day warranty against defective materials or workmanship on all tonneau rails, aluminum components, clamps, bows, hardware.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS:
This warranty is against defective materials or workmanship. The warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper service/installation/removal, modifications, acts of God, normal wear and tear or other causes not arising out of defective materials or workmanship. Consequential and incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL ALSO VOID THE WARRANTY:
Wind whip damage: Tarps must be secured at all points when vehicle is in motion. An unsecured tarp will flap, resulting in damage to the fabric.

Improper cleaning: It is recommended to use the tested and approved Extang Tonno Tonic or clean with soap and water only. Do not use vinyl conditioners (i.e. Armor All) because they will shrink the vinyl.

Overloading of cargo: Cargo should not touch the tonneau at any point. Protrusions in the tarp will stress the fabric. Cargo may shift while traveling and cause it to push against the fabric or panels and damage it.

Driving with panels open or improperly secured on all folding tonneaus: Prior to vehicle operation, clamps must be tightly secured so that clamp lips tightly grip the inner bedside metal surface. Open position: Tonneau must be completely folded and secured with BOTH buckles. Closed position: Tonneau must be completely flat and secured at all 4 clamps.

Opening panels without removal of debris on all folding tonneaus: Top of tonneau MUST be free of foreign material including snow and ice before opening panels or severe damage may result.

Towing: Do NOT tow your vehicle from the rear with any Extang tonneau cover on your truck.

The warranty applies to the original consumer/purchaser. Warranty registration must be on file and/or proof of original purchase (detailed and dated receipt) required for warranty to be effective. Warranty coverage starts from the date of purchase.

PERFORMANCE: Provided all warranty conditions are met, Extang will either repair or replace (at Extang's option) the product or component. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.

Accurate Description Of Product

Product was just as advertised. Fit with no modifications, just trimming to fit. Adhesive tape is very strong but you can adjust. Arrived on time, very low price for value product.

Extang Tailgate Seal

The Extang Maxseal tailgate is advertised as being 12 feet long but when I measured the seal out of the package, it was only 10 feet long. There is enough to do the job, but somebody needs to change the advertised size. Thank You. Bob.

Good Seal

Easy to install. The directions are good. We used our own bottle of alcohol to clean truck surface. The Ram tailgate has lots of gap between sidewalls.
