4-1/4" Hood Channel CB Antenna Mount Mini Kit by FireStik®. Each mini-kit contains a free microphone hanger. Allows you utilize the inside edge of any of the door jambs on your vehicle, regardless of the angle. The antenna stud mounts to an adjustable swivel bracket to allow you to keep the antenna vertical inspite of any left/right tilt of the door jamb. The antenna stud bracket swivels a full 180 degrees making the possible mounting applications many. You get a quality stainless steel mount and 18' (5.5 m) of professional grade Fire-Flex coaxial cable (with exclusive Fire-Ring connector) all in one package! And, if that isn't enough, you save money to boot. almost 14% when compared to individual component purchases. The stainless steel mount fastens to the inside edge of the opening. There are no visible mounting holes on the vehicles exterior! Includes four #12 x 1/2" Philips panhead stainless steel sheet metal screws (use a #20, 0.161" drill for the screw pilot holes).
Mini-kits give you the freedom to create your own personalized antenna kit. Any of standard 3/8"-24 threaded antennas or accessories will screw directly into the antenna stud. Pick any color Firestik™, Firestik™ II, Firefly, Road Pal, Scanner, 2-meter or Mach-10 antenna up to 4' (1.2 m) to complete your installation.
The PL-259 connector (radio end) is supplied in this kit but is not installed on the coax cable. This allows the cable to be routed into the vehicle through a smaller (0.375") hole. A grommet is supplied. After the connector is placed on the coax, the center conductor must be soldered to the PL connector.
