    Flowtech® - Exhaust Headers Installation Instructions

    All ports are precisely fitted and finished with sturdy, leak-proof O-ringed port seals, and all FLOWTECH headers include all mounting hardware including bolts, nuts and premium gaskets. FLOWTECH headers are available with either a high-quality, electrostatically-applied satin black paint finish or with a specially formulated, NASA®-developed silver luster ceramic coating for rust and corrosion resistance.

    TIP: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Flowtech recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage.

    Bad Fit
    I have an 03 Silverado with a 4.8, bought these, but immediately had fitment issues with primary tube from #3 cylinder, wouldn't even let it reach the head. Also 3, 4, 8 could not get plug wires onto plugs as they make contact with primary tubes, also couldn't even get the spark plug socket on #3 due to primary tube being too close (.5" about) to the end of the spark plug.

    Great Headers for Price
    Everything on these headers are pretty good. Mine showed up with 1 tube bent. Other than that perfect.

    Good But Make Sure You Buy The Y Pipes
    I love them. But you need the flowtech y-pipes to complete it. And I waited for those to be made for a month. Very easy step by step instructions. I recommend doing plugs and wires while you are there.
