Very nice well built just way to much ranch hand is cheaper.

First off: I had gotten a call stating it would be 2 months before I received this item as they are typically made to order. I was stunned when 2 days later, the freight company called to arrange delivery. Big points there! I got this item for my 2002 Toyota Sequoia. When I received the package, I was worried as everything stated it was for an '04 Tundra. Fortunately, once I got into the assembly instructions inside the packaging, it was revealed that this guard will fit on either vehicle family. Assembly was amazingly easy. Using an impact wrench to remove the stock towing recovery hooks from the Sequoia was the most difficult part. One note: the Sequoia has a "double hook" on the passenger side. If you do not use the extra hook with the new assembly, the stock bolts will not fit correctly as they are twice as long as the driver's side. The hook becomes buried in the support frame of the guard, but will still fit and provide the needed offset for the bolts to function correctly. This was not in the provided instructions. Once the 4 mounting brackets are loosely installed, the entire guard easily slots into place. I was able to do this by holding the frame myself and having my 9 year old daughter drop all the bolts into the holes. This will fully support the guard for completing assembly. Once everything was tightened, the guard was perfectly aligned to the body of the truck and improved the appearance of the vehicle drastically. I strongly recommend this item for anyone looking to give their Sequoia a facelift. Frontier makes a top quality product.

Let me begin by saying this is only the second product review I have ever done, and the first one was not a positive one, but I am so impressed by this grill guard I had to write this review. This Frontier Grill Guard is everything I expected. It was shipped quickly and wrapped very well with cardboard and heavy duty plastic. Considering the size, shape and weight, it arrived undamaged with only a slight scuff on one corner probably before it was wrapped. A small bottle of touch up paint included would have been a nice touch. After watching several Youtube videos of how to replace the bumper, tow hooks, grill and one specifically showing the install of this grill guard, I had a full understanding of how the brackets bolted to the frame. I installed it by myself in about 3 hours. I did use a small front end loader with a couple of straps to hold it in place to bolt it to the brackets. It was a bit challenging getting the top brackets between the bumper and the grill from underneath but with plastic body molding tools and a little patience, I managed. I did have to ream out the holes on both lower brackets a little using a die grinder so the bolts would go through them. All parts needed were supplied. This grill guard fit perfectly and is very sturdy. I did a lot of research and chose this model because I was able to keep my tow hooks, front camera and front parking sensors. This thing is heavy duty. I would definitely purchase it again.

Grill guard was shipped wrapped in paper with thin plastic over it. Powder coat was damaged in multiple places from shipping. The bolt holes had a large amount of slag that had been coated over. You had to grind off the slag destroying the coating to get parts to bolt flush. The directions lacked detail that could cause installation issues. The design of the guard is nice and installs easy enough. TRUCKiD was great to deal with and offered to replace the item. We like the design of this guard well enough to have it recoated in town and keep it.

Installation went a lot smoother than I anticipated. My truck had tow hooks and that was the hardest part, backing the original bolts out! (Good old Ford puts Loctite on them!). Brackets slipped right on and grill guard fit perfectly!!! Only had 1 little scratch on one side. Comes with foam pipe insulation around bars and then well wrapped in protective insulation and paper so scratch must have been there before being wrapped.

The grille guard was easy enough to mount by myself. Showed up wrapped in foam on a pallet. Its all one piece and even sturdier than I imagined. The picture isn't quite right though. Mine doesn't have the bar that runs across the headlights to protect them from deer.

Looks very nice and quality is very good. Only thing I would add to the kit would be some plastic bushings or rubber grommets to put in when the sencers are on the bumper, after you relocate them to protect the wires more than just the snake skin provided. Other than that very pleased with the product and the way it looks on the truck.
