GB Remanufacturing® 845-12136 - Fuel Injector

The central port fuel injection system (CPI) was implemented by General Motors in the early 1990s. It operates using a series of tubes with poppet valves from a single central injector to deliver fuel to each intake port. If your old CPI injector shorts out, leaks, goes open or otherwise malfunctions, you no longer need to run all over town in search of a quality replacement. GB offers remanufactured injectors that function the same as or better than your original part and cost much less. This CPI fuel injector features the same fit, form, and function as the original part because all injectors remanufactured by GB are exact OEM replacement injectors, not similar or aftermarket parts. In the remanufacturing process, each injector is cleaned, degreased, and subjected to a coil resistance test. After that, the injector is ultrasonically cleaned using state of the art equipment, reversed/back flushed, and put through a battery of tests such as spray pattern, leak down, flow rate tests, etc. Before the technicians install new components and make a final inspection, each injector is polished, clear-coated, and lubricated.
