American Muscle Car™ Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System with Single Rear Exit by Gibson®. Exhaust System Type: Cat-Back. Exhaust Tubing Material: Stainless Steel. Main Tubing Diameter: 2.25". Exhaust System Sound: Aggressive / Loud. Let the engine in your muscle car breathe and make it sound like a real muscle car with an American Muscle Car Stainless Steel Exhaust. The mandrel bent tubing and CFT Superflow muffler in this system will reduce restriction and increase exhaust flow for more power. The chambered and louvered design of the CFT Superflow muffler will deliver a powerful sounding exhaust tone.

Installation

Gibson® - American Muscle Car™ Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System Installation Instructions

The heart of the American Muscle Car system is the Gibson Superflow Muffler with Convergent Flow Technology (CFT). Gibson knows that increasing exhaust flow is critical for improving power, and that restriction is the biggest obstacle to increasing that flow. Gibson Superflow mufflers have some of the lowest restriction ratings of any muffler on the market.

Finally, all Gibson exhaust system components are joined with a “slip fit”, where an exhaust system component fits into the larger opening of the next downstream component. This method reduces the turbulence that is common with ‘ball-and-socket” or “flange-and-gasket” joints, which can cause power-robbing backpressure.

All Gibson Products are covered by limited lifetime warranty, except UTV Exhausts.
UTV Exhausts are covered by a One-Year Limited Warranty.

Gibson Performance warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed and sold within the United States.

If a defect in workmanship or materials is found by Gibson factory inspection, Gibson sole obligation shall be to repair or replace the product. This warranty only covers the product. The obligations of Gibson under this warranty are limited, and shall not exceed the cost of non-confirming parts.

Failure to provide proof of purchase, Damage from collision or accidents, improper installation, altered/modified or changed in any way, off-road or racing use, vehicles equipped with non-factory supercharged, turbo-charged or nitrous oxide, road hazards, incorrect timing and external heat wraps.

Products which have been modified or altered, corrosion, peeling, blemishes, discoloration, internal rust, surface rust, rust through, road hazards, lack of maintenance, or extremes of heat or cold. Cost of labor incurred to install or remove the product. Damage to chrome plating, gaskets, burnout, paint and parts blown out by a “back fire” and the cost of customer applied aftermarket coatings. Individual customers sound preference or mufflers meeting the specific sound ordinance in any city, county or state are not covered under this warranty. Inconveniences or consequential damages occasioned by failure of the product, or expressed or implied warranty with respect to this product other than as set forth herein. STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCTS are warranted for internal rust-through.

Too Loud!

I don’t know what the other guy is looking for but I’m looking to get rid of this system because it’s too damn loud! Has a beautiful raspy sound when I shift gears but does NOT tone down in overdrive!

Not Loud or Aggressive at all

Title say it all I’m not very happy with it, they don’t make the car no louder and don’t sound like no muscle car either.

Great Sound

Installation was easy and simple, just cut and clamp. Took about half hour to install. The sound is amazing! Very quiet inside but loud and throaty on the outside.

Gibson American Muscle Car Exhaust

Very loud drone inside the car so much so that it gives me a headache I kept my stock exhaust system and i will probably be putting it back on.

Gibson System

Very pleased with the service and delivery of the system. Installation was not easy at all. The drivers side pipe went in okay. The passenger side pipe was way off. Required having the weld the joints and move an weld the existing bracket on the car. Not actually a bolt on system.

Split Rear Stainless Cat Back Exhaust

I installed this on my 2015 Mustang GT; it looks and sounds great! It was easy to install, only took 3 hours to take off the factory system and install the Gibson system. It sounds really throaty and I am very pleased. I would recommend this system with no hesitation.
