Great Product
Great experience with TRUCKiD. The side rails are awesome. Look really good on my Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x4. Go with the textured look, especially if you have a black truck. Instructions were easy to understand and was able to install one side while my 14 year old son put on the other. Will definitely do business with TRUCKiD again.

Look and Fit Great, But...
The brackets that bolt to the truck frame flex under a 200lb person load. I repositioned the running boards to the first set of adjustment holes which placed them closer in to the body of the truck which helped reduce the flexing greatly. My wife would have preferred the running boards further away from the truck body, oh well. Have used the running boards for several weeks now and have had no problems so far. I have a 2014 Ram 3500 diesel crew cab and the running boards look great.

Looks great. Took me a while to install 3 hrs by myself. Must study the instructions very well before starting this project. I used a vice and oil to run all the blots and the nuts before using them. The instructions could be rewritten again to insure that they are intuitive.

Best Quality and Design
When they arrived and I checked everything over it was apparent how well designed they are, the mounting brackets are well made and strong, they also have two auxiliary brackets holding them from sideway movement. When I went over the installation process to install them I was very skeptical of a single bolt plate in the front and rear rocker panel being sufficient to support them, I'm no light weight at 245lb. It's not that they aren't designed strong enough but whether the rocker panel itself is strong enough to use the single bolt plate in front and rear to hold them up. I was going to return them and started checking other Steps, some had three brackets instead of two some had a three bolt attachment {one centered in rocker panel and a smaller one on each side that goes through small horizontal hole on each side} instead of the one. The other brackets were not as strong and lighter weight, the bolts were lighter and the steps were also lighter weight and more subject to corrosion. "Update" I installed them, they are strong, easy install and look great. Worth the money.
