Go Rhino® 371400T - Rockline™ Full Width Black Rear HD Bumper

If you think replacing a rear bumper full of electronics is easy you would be wrong. This bumper fits well. Any issues I had are due to connector securement and were resolved with zip ties. Also if you're replacing because you backed into something twice like me, you might need to make some percussive adjustments. The slots for the cross traffic sensors could be .25 mm closer together. I used a pocket knife to shave the tabs and provide a snug fit. It's a truck after all.

Bumper is a good design. The use of two-way tape to hold in sensors is a design flaw that looks like a two year old engineered. Factory sensors have plates you stick on the back side of the bumper. Holes are incorrect size for factory sensors. Also beware of the re-wiring that is necessary. The bumper was received in a box good condition I opened to check the bumper and it was wrapped in protective wrap very well. Told the UPS driver all was OK and he left. BIG MISTAKE, bumper was scratched down to bare steel and there was many cosmetic defects in the paint. Terrible job, Rhino, you need to up your QC in your paint department if your looking for customer satisfaction. Not getting a good review from me.

Arrived very quick in a box securely strapped down on a nice pallet. In the box all the components are individually wrapped for protection against each other in-case rough shipment handling, I was fortunate to have a forklift to quickly unload, however, it could have been done with just one or two people by cutting the metal strap bands off to separate the box from the pallet. Then open the box to remove the items inside the box piece by piece. Be careful to only open it up on hard floor or pavement. Not grass lawn, reason is some important fasteners that hold the cube lights were loose & fell out on the floor, if it was dissembled in the grass I would have not even seen the small fastener disappear in the jungle grass! I gave quality control a very week 3 stars because someone disregardful some of the paint defects and wrapped it up anyway! Some parts had the powder coating rubbed and chipped that was not due to shipping because it was not found until the heavy foam and tape wrap was removed. The only dumb design thing is the LED license plate light that also acts as the two top plate fasteners to mount the plate to the bumper and is made of plastic! I suspect sticking out about one inch from the plate face will easily break off.

Love the bumper. Didn’t like the clips to install the backup sensors. The clips didn’t match the oem clips and had to modify the clips to get the sensors in the same direction. I think there’s a lack of quality check for the sensor clips. My back up sensors don’t work anymore. I did my best to make sure they stayed in the same orientation. If I installed using the clips in the setting it had, they would have been upside down, 180 and 90 degrees off. Only one was positioned correctly. 2 hrs is an understatement, plan on 4 to 6 to install (I was solo). Attaching the bumper to the truck wasn’t easy.

Since installing this new Go Rhino BR20 bumper on my truck, my wife has wanted to ride in my truck every day no matter where I go: Cabela's, Bass Pro, Hooter's, etc. But don't be fooled guys it's not because I'm 200 lbs of twisted steel and sex appeal, it's due to the amount of smokin hot babes that try to jump into my truck when I'm not looking due to my Go Rhino bumper. I would recommend purchasing a t-ball bat with some decent weight to it to save your wife some bloody knuckles. As far as the installation and instructions they could've came with a 6 pack of Busch heavy but hey sometimes you can't have your cake and eat it too. Overall thoroughly impressed with this product and its mystical effects!

Very happy with looks good on truck.

Overall you get what you see. The bumper looks great, it’s about 3x stronger than the factory bumper, and it was pretty easy to install. My only issue is that for some reason Go Rhino didn’t make the access hole for the spare tire setup big enough. A 2 inch hole in place of one of the smaller holes would allow the factory lock and tubing to be reinstalled. When I called them they said it’s supposed to be just an open hole. So now I have to pay a shop to cut the 2” hole needed to replace the lock and tubing. Another issue was the rear license plate lights. They screw into the plate holes. As soon as someone steps up there not realizing there’s 2 little plastic LEDs sticking out, they’ll be smashed. And the first set of them they sent me were crap. They weren’t sealed, one wasn’t soldiered together either. I was also missing 3 screws when the bumper arrived. But customer service took care of both of those issues very quickly. Also I ordered the led lighting as well, it won’t ship for a month. So for now I just have some holes. Overall it’s a quality product. But it’s obvious the company cut corners here and there. The real question is why. It’s a 2” hole instead of a 1.5” one. And some decent flat mounted LEDs would fix the lift issues as well. But it looks stellar!
