Goodmark warrants its parts to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in manufacturing and materials for a period of 120 days from the original date of purchase. Goodmark also will require pictures of the defect prior to a claim being filed. Liability of Goodmark under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective part or a refund of the purchase price of the product. Goodmark hereby disclaims all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Goodmark is not responsible for damage caused by abuse, incorrect installation, modification, shipping, accidents or normal wear; nor is Goodmark responsible for labor charges, inconvenience or other expenses related to installation or use of Company products.

Goodmark Sheet Metal FYI Due to the nature of the material and production, the sheet metal products you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections which are considered normal. These imperfections will easily be corrected during the initial filling, priming and sanding of your repair or restoration. Goodmark does not consider dings, minor dents, scratches in the EDP primer or any other minor imperfection to be defective or damaged. ALL sheet metal panels will require some preparation and manipulation during the installation process for a show quality fit and finish. Goodmark recommends that all sheet metal panels should be test fit before any prep work or paint is applied. Minor modifications such as elongating mounting holes, adding shims, etc, are normal and may be necessary when you are installing the product.

A few key facts to note are: Some driving conditions such as racing can put added stress on a vehicle's frame causing it to twist out of the factory's original tolerance specs. Poorly performed body work from a previous collision or restoration can cause problems with the body structure to which the panels are attached. A vehicle that has been sitting motionless, collecting rust, etc. for years may have developed a slumping frame, especially a sub framed car, which can cause fitment issues when installing new sheet metal products such as floor pans, fenders, doors and quarter panels.

The above mentioned situations are just a few key examples that can cause sheet metal panels to be misaligned during a repair or restoration. One other fact to consider is the tolerances on a classic vehicle were not nearly as exact as they are on today's modern vehicles. The primary reason is the assembly of most vintage or classic cars was performed by hand, not by the robotics that are used in today's modernized facilities. Because of this, the mounting points and bolt-holes were unique to each vehicle. Due to the above procedures performed in the past there really is no such thing as a direct, "bolt on" body panel when it comes to older vehicles. Goodmark recommends that you hire a licensed professional that possesses the proper tools, knowledge, skills and experience necessary to install the new panels on your vehicle. A professional can anticipate or repair any imperfections your panels may have prior to installation.

2 Inch Rise Tear Drop

Original hood on my 2005 Z71 Chevy Tahoe was showing rust coming thru. If I had to replace this hood wanted to upgrade to a different look. More than happy with the end result. I chose the 2 inch rise Tear Drop cowl induction hood. Wish I could put up a photo. It gave my truck an awesome look!

Inspect Slowly And Carefully

The company tells you to inspect your order while the delivery driver is still there and you'd better. I gave the hood a once over and it looked fine, and I accepted it. Upon further inspection while installing, I found that both corners up by the windshield were bent. I called the company and they said too bad, you should've checked it over better. Dont be rushed by the driver or feel the need to be polite. Inspect your order. Besides the damage, the hood is as pictured.

Goodmark Cowl Induction Hood

It really looks awesome. It was a perfect fit and was easy to install. You will need another person to help install. My truck looks great. The price was less than a fiberglass hood and you don't have the problem of having to prep the fiberglass which can be a hassle.

Goodmark

I've bought a couple cowl hoods for the same year truck an they all have pros an cons, this hood is nice, packed well, but still came with a couple dents, it fits ok, but not great. I had to shim it to fit better. Overall I would buy it again, it looks nice and once shimmed I'm happy with it.

88-98 2" Cowl Induction Hood

Packaging was excellent no damage in transit/shipping. Finish is high quality will prevent rust before paint. Fitment was above average but will require adjustment of the surrounding panels as there is minimal hood adjustments. Will consider Goodmark again for next restoration/modification.

GoodMark ProEFX Ram Air Hood Colorado

I looked at a lot of hoods before I made my choice. The folks in the 355Nation forum had good things to say, so I ordered the hood from TRUCKiD. Wow, this hood has far surpassed my expectations. It arrived on time and as requested I inspected it while the delivery truck was still here. Arrived in great shape, no damage. Hood is ready to be prepped and painted. Installing the hood was so easy - 4 bolts and a ratchet. First try, no fiddling around required, spacing was perfect. One of the best things about this hood is it has everything you need, nothing except the hood pad from my previous hood needed to be transferred. This is a solid high quality hood - like the factory OEM hood, only it provides an option to open it up for Ram Air and its a functional cowl hood as well. I am so happy I choice the Goodmark ProEFX Ram Air/Cowl hood. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. If you are thinking about this hood, get it, you will be very happy.
