Universal Steering Wheel Puller (5891) by Grant®. 1" Spacer kit. Use with Grant Signature series (5 bolt) steering wheels. Replaces standard 2" GT styling sleeve and reduces overall dish/offset by 1". Matte black. In addition this adapter can be painted to match a column.
Grant’s easy-to-use Steering Wheel Puller lets you quickly and easily remove your steering wheel to swap a new one on, replace a turn signal switch, repair wiring, or make adjustments to steering column parts. Because it attaches to both the steering column and the steering wheel itself, pressure is applied gradually by tightening bolts to budge the two items apart. Unlike “knockoff” steering wheel pullers that require hammering on the wheel, this puts no undo stress on steering column shaft and bearing components. Simply straighten the wheel dead forward, disengage the car's electrical system to avoid any electrical shocks, remove the horn center cap, and wrench off the retaining nut. Mark the shaft with a felt tip pen at the 12 o'clock position where the wheel meets the shaft so you’ll know where to place the new steering wheel. Attach the puller around the steering shaft and to the tapped holes on your steering wheel hub, then insert bolts and tighten them to push the two items apart.
