Product Details

Swirl-Cool™ Power Steering Oil Cooler by Hayden®. This product is designed to remove destructive heat generated within the power steering system and prolong the life of the system's pump, hoses, fluid, and seals. Available for light, medium, and heavy duty applications, the power steering oil cooler will ensure years of reliable service.

The power steering system works by utilizing a hydraulic pump mounted on the engine and driven with a multirib belt. The fluid in the system is held under pressure until the wheel is turned, which releases the pressure and applies it to the steering system. The power steering cooler removes destructive heat generated within the power steering system, especially in vehicles with large tires such as motor homes and off-road vehicles and extends the life of the pump, hoses, fluid, and seals. If you are looking for a quality power steering oil cooler, Hayden has the right product for you. This part is designed for vehicles with 3/8" I.D. power steering return hose and comes with all required hardware for ease of installation.

Fan Clutches (Thermal and Electronic)
Fan Clutches (Non-Thermal)
Electric Fans (120-day warranty), Radiator Fan Motors and Accessories
Pulleys, Idlers and Tensioners
Semi-Flex Fan

to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

Hayden Automotive warrants for:

Standard and Heavy Duty Flex Fans
Fan Clutch Fan
Transmission and Engine Oil Coolers

to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 24 months or 24,000 miles. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the warranty period, Hayden Automotive will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. Hayden Automotive reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.
