    Product Details

    SP Series Polished Silver Short Ram Air Intake System (SP2050P) by Injen®. The Short Ram SP Series is a traditional, underhood air intake system that takes the place of your factory airbox and air filter, and the factory air intake tube. The EA Nanofiber air filter allows increased airflow and the aluminum alloy intake tube smoothes the airflow path into the engine. The increased airflow and velocity results in more power, increased acceleration and better fuel economy.

    Just because the Injen SP Series Short Ram is a traditional "underhood" system, don't think it's any less of a performance air intake system. The SP Series Short Ram is a product of the same rigorous development and testing as Injen's other air intake systems. It's made of the same quality materials and features the same high flow EA Nanofiber dry air filter. The air intake tube is made of 6061, T-6 aluminum alloy, for strength, light weight and smooth airflow. All connections are made with quality silicone connectors that provide flexibility, while maintaining strength and thermal stability. The stainless steel hose clamps provide a solid seal that won’t loosen or deteriorate. The end result is a quality system that will improve performance and look great under the hood.

    Where the SP Series Short Ram differs from conventional short ram systems is the inclusion of Injen's patented MR (Mega Ram) Technology. MR Technology allows this system to attain increased intake airflow and performance while maintaining a safe air/fuel ratio. Injen steps down the diameter of the intake tube where the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor mounts, enabling the sensor to detect airflow within established parameters. The engine control computer can then maintain the proper air/fuel ratio and optimize horsepower and torque. Simply put, MR Technology tunes the intake system to avoid the necessity of recalibrating the MAF sensor, and prevents your engine from running too lean or too rich. With MR Technology, Injen created "The World's First Tuned Intake System", delivering optimum performance with a factory safe air/fuel ratio.

    The SP Short Ram system installs in place of your factory airbox and air intake tube. It's carefully engineered, with CNC machined brackets and adapters, to ensure an exact fit. Installation is fast and simple and can be completed under the hood. There's no need to get underneath the car or do any significant component relocating. Everything necessary for installation is supplied, including comprehensive instructions. The SP Series Short Ram Air Intake System is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

    Know What You’re Buying
    Like the title says, know what you’re buying. This means just because its a fancy tube does not means it’s a turbo and you will not notice any power gains from driving alone, on the dyno you might. Buy this if you are doing it for sound and engine dressing. It definitely makes your engine bay look better and it definitely makes the growl of the car more aggressive. It’s a great product for what it is, the bad reviews come from people that are expecting much more.

    Extra Power
    I just put on my 2018 Mazda 3 2.0 liter and I believe everything they say is true. More hp and and torque and better gas mileage. Really a quick installation and love the extra torque. The torque is what I missed the most especially at lower rpm. Great product.

    Perfect
    Let’s be real here, you wont notice any power gains from just an intake. You will however notice how much louder your car is afterwards. I’ve had people asking what kind of work is done to my car only to have them shocked that the intake is the one making the noise. This thing is super easy to install and will definitely make you smile every time you give your car some sauce. Perfect for a beginner if you’re looking to start making some changes.

    Quality Intake
    This is a good Air intake system. I am a Honda technician and love civics. For the people questioning their horsepower and torque gains I suggest looking into Hondata and the tuning options available. Without a proper tune just bolting this on will make zero performance differences, bolt on parts is not how performance works. This could cause your vehicle to run lean. If you’re going to build a race car do it right.

    Easy Install and Has a Great Tutorial on YouTube
    Got this as my first modification for my 2014 Fiesta ST. Me and one of my friend's put it together and this was our first time doing anything to one of our cars. The installation was easy for the most part. Some bolts were hard to get to down near the turbo but luckily we're skinny. It took us awhile but again, this was our first time using tools so someone with at least the slightest idea of how a ratchet works can put it together. The sound from the turbo sounds sooooo good now that words cannot describe it. Best fun per dollar I've ever spent. Definitely worth the $293 after tax.

    An Amazing Intake
    Now I'm not the best with cars. However, this intake has been great for me. The sound of it with my turbo is satisfying. Not only has it increased my cars power, but has improved its fuel economy too. On a full tank I now get an additional 25 to 30 miles. I highly suggest this intake system to anyone.

    Great Intake for my TRD
    I have used Injen before on many of my current vehicles my 06 Monte Carlo SS 5.3L and on my 16 Chevy Colorado Z71 and now on my new Camry TRD and I just gotta say this instantly opened up what the 3.5L was made for, my throttle response is UNMATCHED I can literally feel the power like never before my TRD only has 2,020 miles on her but I bought her with 1 mile on her, but I noticed the TQ gain instantly and HP gain my 0-60 has increased significantly I have to do a proper test which I will update after I do, but all on all a SOLID product for price, many other intakes I've had in the past I've had to buy tuners for and when all is said and done I end up over $550 total normally after tax for an intake and good Tuner and I didn't want that and INJEN always delivers with the perfect air to fuel ratio no need to buy a Tuner of course unless you want one but I don't I have tuners and they are only good for one thing, if you own a 2018-2021 3.5L Camry TRD/XLE and or XSE than this puppy is for you and I work on cars on the side for a an "Extra Living" and this baby is so easy to install I mean Camrys are easy to work on anyway but I just want to add that you will need a POWER DRILL to drill the 2nd mounting bracket for the heat shield into the bottom part of the stock ram air and when I went to buy I don't remember it saying you needed that but luckily I'm a plumber/HVAC man by trade so I have all kinds of power tools anyway so no big deal. But if you want a nice ROARING ENGINE which makes heads turn espwif you already own 1 of 6k TRDs which turn heads anyway than this is the intake for you trust me you won't regret it!
