    Nicely Done Rebuild

    Chinese Garbage
    I bought this gear based on price and completely regretted my purchase from day one. Caused my steering to be drifty and also had a creaking noise that sounded like an old ship. After a few months, I bit the bullet and bought a new, US made PSC gear. My steering instantly felt like new and was rock solid. The only item I replaced was the steering gear itself. No other steering component was responsible for the problem. Please learn from my mistake and don't buy this absolute piece of garbage.

    Hi, first, please allow us to point out that this part is currently out of stock, and we do not know when it will become available again. This part is designed to work as a replacement on Rangers which were factory built with manual (non-power) steering. If this were available, installation on a truck originally built with power steering might involve modifications beyond a straightforward 'remove and replace' repair.

    Hi, this is a remanufactured part, designed to replace the steering box in Rancheros which were factory equipped with manual steering. Since you are planning to modify your car, it is not possible for us to say if this part will work. However, if your conversion requires the factory manual steering box, then it may be possible for you to make this work.
