Features

• Unhook turbo out line at turbo or air to air connection
• Unhook hose at air to air outlet or intake
• Tighten clamp, making sure it is behind the ridge on the adapter
• Pull cap out and turn counterclockwise
• Place the T-adapter between the air regulator hose and air fitting adapter
• (Red lever at 90° to input)
• Connect smoke machine to T-adapter (Fig B)
• Leave the air shut off and turn on smoke to fill the system
• Make sure smoke valve is closed to avoid air getting back into the smoke machine
• Any visible smoke will pinpoint the
• If pressure drops, a spray bottle with water can also be used to locate the leak
• Remove air hose and open air valve to release pressure
• Remove regulator from adapter
• Remove adapters and reconnect turbo lines
• Important: Safety valve will release air at 30 PSI

Universal 10-piece HD Turbo Air System Test Kit with Smoke Adapter by Lisle®. Includes T-Adapter for Connecting Smoke Machines to Help Locate Air Leaks in the Components. Plugs the output side of the turbo and the intake inlet. Air and smoke are applied through one adapter to show the presence of leaks within the system. Features a pressure gauge, shut off valve and pressure regulator and includes four pairs of stepped adapters to fit most turbo systems on light duty trucks and Class 7 & 8 Semis. Can also be used on some cooling system hoses.
