With their small elliptical reflectors and clear lenses, projector beams produce a sharper, more focused beam of light without the scatter loss that is common with parabolic reflectors. DRLs make a vehicle more conspicuous, reducing the chance of a collision and improving safety. Lumen’s imaginative designers have artistically arranged LEDs to create DRLs in the form of full-circle Halos and small “star” lights encircling the low beams. They’re a true bolt-on, plug & play replacement for your OE headlights – installation is easy, only minor wiring work is needed for Halo + “stars” DRL operation, and an adjustment screw is provided for beam aiming. Since LEDs don’t use as much power as halogen bulbs, Lumen has hard-wired modules into the headlight assemblies to prevent flickering, bulb-out warnings and CAN Bus interference.
