3rd Brake Light, Ford Ranger 2001 Edge
Fit, 3rd brake light works perfectly, cargo lights need to run cable, models of 2001 dosen't have cargo lights....some day. But I love the design and at night very visible and also on rain conditions

Love The Vibes, But Be Aware.........
I had purchased this just over a month ago. Well after I installed it I had went to the car wash and noticed that my backseats and my ceiling were pretty wet. I knew there was something that wasn't sealed right. So if you are planning on purchasing this just make sure that you have something you can seal it with that way when it rains and stuff no moisture gets into your truck, overall look is amazing and I have gotten complimented numerous times on how good it looks, other than the seal I have no other complaints

Good Unit
Has dark metallic grey exterior with nice gloss lense, functions good and looks great. Definitely an upgrade from the OE design.

Not Bad
Came with no instructions. Patience is key but the housing for the connector is just to small. Could force it in but adjustments had to be made.

Worlds Okayest
Not a bad light. The whate LEDs are pretty.decent. the "fiber optic" lights look like a bendy straw with a chem light behind it.. could have been better. Now install was difficult, the threaded bolts dont seem to fit the 2018 platinum well. While trying to seat the light in the appropriate spot, i noticed a lot of scraping of threads. But thats about it. Partially take the headliner down and lose a sacredn10mm socket and a plastic push clamp somewhere and you're done. It could have been easier by making the 2ish inch bolt smooth for a 1/4" so you dont drop your 10mm nuts in your roof. The LEDs are bright. But the chem bendy straws could be brighter... possibly by adding more red LEDs.

Cheaply Made
It's annoying to install. If you're mechanically inclined and have some basic tools it isn't that bad. That being said it's cheaply made and the plastic housing broke on me so I had to install with sealant tape and silicone sealer. I would not get again.

Modifications Needed
There was too much material and or molding on the very end edges and caused a 1/8 inch gap on the top and bottom, took a flap disk to remove some material, fits better. The gasket that was glued to the back was way to small and not good quality, used a clear liquid gasket instead to weather proof

Not Worth The Money
I've had this product for almost 2 years now. For the first year it looked and performed great. Recently I've experienced heavy rain in the area and found a leak starting from where the light mounts. After the last year or so the sun has damaged the light to the point of severe fading and warping. It has bowed out to were the gasket no longer works and the lense is looks terrible. Mind you this is with the vehicle only sitting, in a parking lot, in the elements while I'm at work. For it to just give out like that I believe either the price should be reduced or quality increased.
