Product Details

Heavy Metal Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold with Integrated Catalytic Converter (24367) by MagnaFlow®. Position: Front. Primary Tubing Diameter: 1.5". Collector Outlet Diameter: 2". Color: Silver. Header Coating: Uncoated. If your car needs replacement, install one that will get you through the smog check. This converter is part of the exhaust header/manifold assembly, and it will directly replace the factory unit, with little or no fabrication required. The Direct Fit Catalytic Converter with Header is available in Pre-OBD II and OBD II configurations.

MagnaFlow specializes in superior catalytic converter and exhaust technology and has spent the past 30+ years earning its reputation as a global market leader. American engineered and manufactured, MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters combine efficient industrial design to produce a product that exceeds, rather than meets, the highest standards of product performance and efficiency in the industry. MagnaFlow uses Ceramic substrates with different combinations of cell density and wall thickness to meet vehicle specific requirements.

MagnaFlow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters are designed for easy bolt-on installation for the Professional Installer. Each is designed to exact the original equipment specifications. While the majority of the Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter products do not require welding, cutting or bending, limited applications may require additional welding for optimal installation.

All California State Catalytic converters are CARB compliant. Converters are based on Executive Orders issued by the California Air Resource Board and must be used in accordance with this information. In California, it is illegal to select a catalytic converter for installation based solely on vehicle weight and engine size.

The Direct Fit Catalytic Converter is an exact replacement for your stock converter, with an interface at either end that will allow it to be bolted into the exhaust system. No fabrication or modifications are usually required. It’s available in OBD II (On-Board Diagnostics, 2nd Generation), Pre-OBD II, and OEM Grade OBD II configurations. Pre-OBD II is for early vehicles (generally 1995 or older), which were equipped with 2-way, 3-way, or 3-way with air injection converters. Two-way converters oxidize harmful Hydrocarbons (HC) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) along with secondary oxygen into water (H2O) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Along with the previously detailed conversion, a 3-way converter also reduces oxides of nitrogen (NOx) into Nitrogen (N2). The 3-way with air injection converter operates the same as a 3-way converter but with the addition of air pumped into the converter to improve the oxidation capabilities.

OBD II converters are for 1995 and newer vehicles and are 3-way converters. OEM Grade OBD II converters are for vehicles registered outside of the state of California, with California spec emissions. More precious metals are applied to the substrate on these converters to further reduce emissions. To determine if this converter is right for your vehicle, find the VECI (Vehicle Emissions Control Information) label in the engine compartment and look for the word “California” on the label.

On vehicles registered outside the state of California, MagnaFlow warrants the Direct Fit Catalytic Converter to be free of manufacturer’s defects for a period of 5 years and emissions failure for 25,000 miles. Direct Fit Catalytic Converters on vehicles registered in California carry a 5 year, 50,000 mile warranty against manufacturer’s defects and emissions failure.

Good fix
My H3 was running rough and kept throwing codes so I needed a new converter bad. Truck's back to running smooth. It wasn't too hard to install. It works, I can't complain.

Cost Me $250 Extra to Make This Fit My Car
I bought this because I trusted Magnaflow for the quality of their products. Boy was I wrong. Oh, it fit on the engine great, but the other end on the cat flange had NO threads for the stock bolts, and there were no provisions for two of the three heat shields at all and the lower bolts for the bottom brackets that attach the cat to the engine were in the WRONG place and it took much fabricating to make them fit. So all in all what should have been a ONE hour job turned into a FIVE hour job all because things weren't properly aligned on the cat. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with this unit and I called Magnaflow and gave them an ear full of which they just shrugged me off to the dealer (TRUCKiD) and said deal with them....the old sluff-off ploy!....And of course they said "just send it back"...yeah right now that it's already on the car! Bottom line, this ended up costing me an extra $250! And all because Magnaflow didn't check their manufacturing jigs, too bad, the guys that design this stuff do have to install it first before it hits the market! The up side is that my 2.4 Xrs engine really breaths well and runs better than it ever has. With these headers, the Magnaflow cat back exhaust system and a larger high flow cat in the middle, it seems like it shifts up to 5th gear a lot sooner when I'm poking along, and when I get on it, it develops a little more low end torque which makes it accelerate quicker and revs faster (which was the desired affect). Was it all worth it? Well yes accept for having to pay out the extra $250 all due to those manufacturing mistakes!!!! EERRRRRRR!!!!

Good Fit
Didn't come with the best gasket, but it works. It was pretty easy to put on. Good quality. I was hoping it a little deeper sound, but it does sound better.

Replacement that actually works
Had to replace the stock exhaust manifold on my 2002 IS300 after the original cat went bad. Direct fit, bolted right up. No CEL after install, which is a win. Not cheap but Magnaflow makes quality stuff, and way better than dealing with codes headaches.

Back on the Road Without the Dealer Prices
Was stressing hard when my check engine light came on because I know converters are pricey. Found this one and it was a direct fit for my Forte. Saved a ton compared to the dealer's quote. Worth every penny

Fits like a glove
Perfect so far, it fit like factory. The light is gone car runs smoother than ever. The stainless steel construction feels durable. It also resolved a minor exhaust leak I had near the old manifold. Definitely recommend, it's a good replacement.

Great Replacement
The first thing I noticed when I unboxed this manifold was how well made it is. The welds are clean and the stainless steel feels durable. The gaskets included were great quality. Once installed, no more rattling or check engine light, and the car feels more responsive.
