Fitment of a MagnaFlow diesel exhaust system improves performance by providing better exhaust scavenging and a better gas flow through the exhaust pipes and muffler(s).

The aluminized steel pipes in a MagnaFlow System are mandrel bent, keeping their cross section area through the bends to avoid obstructions to the gas flow. The MagnaFlow System improves exhaust scavenging, which ups horsepower and torque.

The gases are led into the free-flow mufflers with smooth necks and a straight-through, perforated aluminized steel tuning pipe. The pipe is wrapped in a stainless mesh wrap and surrounded by tightly packed acoustical fiber in a lap-joint welded aluminized steel body. The muffler is finely tuned to dampen irritating pitch notes and to deliver that smooth, deep and powerful tone that is so characteristic of MagnaFlow exhausts.
