    Street Series™ Stainless Steel DPF-Back Exhaust System with Split Rear Exit by MagnaFlow®. Exhaust System Type: DPF-Back. Exhaust Tubing Material: Stainless Steel. The Street Series is designed for customers seeking increased performance and better economy, combined with a powerful and well tuned exhaust note, making a real statement within legal limits with a pleasing, deep and manly tone.

    The stainless steel pipes in a MagnaFlow System are mandrel bent, keeping their shape through the bends to avoid obstructions to the gas flow. The gases are led into the free-flow mufflers with smooth necks and a straight-through, perforated stainless steel tuning pipe. The pipe is wrapped in a stainless mesh wrap and surrounded by tightly packed acoustical fiber in a lap-joint welded stainless steel body. The muffler is finely tuned to dampen irritating pitch notes and to deliver that smooth, deep and powerful tone that is so characteristic of MagnaFlow exhausts. The quality materials and the tight packing of the acoustical material ensure long life and no sound degradation over time.

    The careful free-flow design, the first class workmanship and the attention to detail in both design and fabrication combine to achieve the power increase, the finely tuned sound and the long life of MagnaFlow products.

    So Far So Good
    Was a bit louder than I expected when first installed last year but now just sounds fine and is working fine with no rusting or any other issues. It looks nice when you see the MF logo on the tailpipes that implies you are cool and like dirty abbreviations!

    CATS and Exhaust System
    Just had my new 49057/49058 CATS and 16788 exhaust installed by a local shop. They also added new oxygen sensors. So far the car runs better and sounds great. A little more depth in the sound but not so much to attract attention. Fitment was great. The shop did have to supply 1 gasket that was not included. Note: Be sure to disconnect the battery prior to work. After the install go through the "re-learn" procedure in the manual to sync the ECM with the new system.

    So I recently bought this exhaust from here and everything was good but the box was all beat up from shipment and there’s weren’t any gaskets or clamps in the package.

    Fit Well and Nice Aggressive Growl, Without Being Too Loud or Obnoxious.
    Replaced the ancient stock muffler and pipe, and I am pleased. Only wish I'd also replaced the cat with the MagnaFlow for more performance and even cooler sound. It isn't obnoxiously loud, just a nice big cat purr and growl with some bass notes. You're not going to disturb the whole neighborhood.

    Bought a set of these axel backs, installation was a breeze. The look and sound are perfect. Didn't want too much rumble just some. The polished stainless muffler's and tips are perfect love them. Wish they would give you 2 of both stickers is my only complaint. Now onto my 77 cutlass

    Nice Deep Sound
    Just bought this exhaust through MagnaFlow and got it installed a couple of days ago. Definitely sounds nice and turns heads lol. Also love how overtime it's supposed to get louder. Definitely recommend.

    Highly Recommend
    Sounds pretty good, it makes a good sound for me, doesn't make it sound raspy like some of the companies exhausts I have heard do. The finish is very nice on the exhaust. The tip sticks out a little farther on the car than usual but I think it looks a little better personally. Came with hardware which was very important for me. Fairly easy to assemble, hardest part was getting off the old exhaust because most of it was rusted. Putting it on was fun and fairly easy though. Would recommend if you want a high quality product with a very good sound.
