Product Details
Installer Series™ Aluminized Steel DPF-Back Exhaust System with Dual Side Exit by MBRP®. Exhaust System Type: DPF-Back. Exhaust Tubing Material: Aluminized Steel. Main Tubing Diameter: 4". Exhaust System Sound: Moderate. Built from heavy duty aluminized steel Installer Series performance exhaust systems offer a value price without compromising on the quality built into every component. While the seams are a major point of rust through with some budget systems MBRP fully sealed tubing adds years to your system.
Installation
Fabricated from industry-standard aluminized steel, these systems are rugged and moderately priced, while attention to detail during design and fabrication means they flow better than the stock system they replace. The freer-flowing your exhaust system is, the less energy is needed to push exhaust gases out past the turbocharger and out of the cylinders. Better yet, a low-restriction exhaust leaves less residual exhaust inside the combustion chamber at the end of the scavenge cycle, which allows more air in during the intake stroke. And more air means more power, especially if you've added more fuel with a tuner or some other mod.
