When you want to replace your factory stereo with a custom one, your should figure out whether you need a single-DIN or double-DIN stereo and stereo dash kit. To do it, you should measure the faceplate of your current head unit. If it measures roughly 7" wide by 2" high, then it’s a single-DIN head unit. If it measures roughly 7" wide by 4" high, then it’s double-DIN. The single-DIN stereo can be replaced with another single-DIN unit, while the double-DIN stereo can be replaced with another double-DIN unit or a single-DIN one with a pocket.

This stereo dash kit allows for the installation of the double-DIN stereo. This product is designed with exacting tolerances to match the factory dash contours perfectly, with no gaps between the dash and the kit, to make a custom stereo look like OEM. Not Too Bad
There's not a whole lot to this dash kit and it does work just fine but. With the double DIN CD player it makes the ring/dash kit around the CD player bulge a little also after installing and putting my dash back together there is a tiny, tiny bit of space that the dash kit doesn't fill. What i mean is when i put the factory dash parts back on the ring/dash kit around, the radio isn't that wide so around the bottom of the radio there is about a centimeter of space that the dash kit doesn't fill. It's hardly noticeable and nobody else would probably ever see it but i see it, other than that i don't have any complaints.

Does Not Fit.
Inside dimension is not 7", try more like 6.75". Had to trim off on both sides, the top, and the bottom to get this to fit a double din radio that's the exact same size as the stock radio. Stock radio wouldn't even fit.

Great Match in 2017 XSE
I used this kit to install a Pioneer AVH-2300NEX in my 2017 Corolla XSE. The gloss finish matches wonderfully, and I'm very pleased with the final result. I'm not a huge fan of the plastic mounting brackets, as they do flex a bit when re-fastening the 10mm bolts. However, once fully mounted it's solid.
