And since working at unusual angles is sometimes your only choice, longer periods of operation are required to angle out. To give the winch a longer period of operation when there's no time to spend waiting for overheated parts to cool down, its series wound motor is designed to draw less amperage and run cooler. For safety, it's also fitted with an integrated kill switch and an automatic load holding brake that keeps the clutch lever engaged, so there's no risk of the cable free-spooling back suddenly to set you further back.
