This 35 Series kit is necessary to install Mile Marker HI-series hydraulic winches with solenoid units integrated into the housing that are rated for 9k, 10.5k, and 12k pounds of pulling power. This kit is sold separately from the winches and once the metal valves have been hooked up, your vehicle's power steering pump can be used to power the winch for longer durations without overheating compared to electric winches.
