Question:
Can Full Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid be mixed with conventional fluid already in the transmission?

CARiD Answer:
Hello, I would not recommend mixing two different types of transmission fluids. While you can mix fully synthetic and conventional oils, you're doing nothing more than diluting the performance of the synthetic oil. I would stick with what the vehicle manufacturer recommends, or completely change to fully synthetic.
