    Don't Use in a 1.6L Ecoboost Ford Motor
    Put these in a 2014 Escape with 127k mi and immediately had misfires and drive ability issues after I did the valve cover gasket. Ended up putting the old plugs back in and car drove just fine. Too high of a performance plug for this specific application.

    After Install
    I finely installed these NGK 4998 plugs and I guess I was right. I now have a misfire on number 6 code so am going to put back my Bosch 9661. It might be the plugs or might not but thats the only thing different about the Jeep. I will will let you know after I replace them

    NGK 4998 Plugs
    After looking on the computer for a good price on NGK 4998 plugs for the Jeep I found TRUCKiD which had a great price for them $6.75 ea. Every other web page was asking $10 to $15 ea, one site was selling them for $26.31 ea. Which really makes me wonder if these plugs are the real thing. Like the old saying goes if the deal is too good to be true it usually is not. So am really not in a big hurry to install these until I find out if these are real NGK 4998 or cheap knock offs that will destroy my motor.

    General TRUCKiD Review
    Spark Plugs, Air/Cabin Filters, etc. This is the best price for this platinum spark plug that I've found in my search. I have a Toyota Matrix and this was recommended for my vehicle from Toyota Parts Department, but the price was nearly doubled that of TRUCKiD 's. In addition, I've ordered other parts from this company and have found their quality, selection, price are the best that I've come across. The times that I needed to speak to a representative was always pleasant, they are highly knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and professional. The website is extremely user friendly and is 'car specific' so that one can view any item that is custom to their specific vehicle and quick delivery too!     My Purchase
    I bought and installed all 6 spark plugs. They always work really well, as did these. The delivery was fast enough, the plugs were packed properly, so when I opened the box, all the spark plugs were on their places, in the containers. That is good!

    Tune Up.
    Definitely noticed a slight horsepower increase after installation. Throttle response improved as well.
